Add The Wall Street Journal to the number of papers that have recognized the inconvenient truth of Hebron, 1929: If the Jews of Hebron weren’t murdered and mutilated by the Arab’s ethnic cleansing of 1929, their children and spiritual children wouldn’t be the settlers of 2009 — they’d simply be the latest of the 180-plus generations of Jews that have called Hebron home. Meanwhile, what’s all this talk about a Palestinian state? Apparently, it’s the Jews who are are ready for it, not the Americans. What’s up with that?
