About Jonathan Mark

Jonathan Mark is Associate Editor of The Jewish Week. He has twice been recognized as Writer of the Year by The New York Press Association, as well winning awards for “Best Creative Non-Fiction,” and religion coverage. He has appeared in The New Yorker and The Village Voice, was one of the founders of New Jewish Times, contributed to the entry on the Lubavitcher rebbe in the new edition of the Encyclopedia Judaica, and has twice been anthologized in Best Contemporary Jewish Writing.
